Digital Society Interview 8: Thomas Knüwer
At the court yard of the re:publica in Berlin I talked to Thomas Knüwer, a founder and communication expert known for a long time in the German digital space. Fact-based discussions are to him the core of a good and resilient society that is open for arguments and different opinions. Anger and controversies shouldn’t be ignored but wisely framed and can thus foster societal change.
In our video-colloquium on “Populism” the theologian Erica Meijers adresses a comparable aspect: a perfect society is not necessarily a society where everyone is happy. Instead anger and fear have to be faced and constructively be part of life where everyone is aware of what does it takes to be human [starting at min. 38].
